Transforming the education sector: with Innovative, Integrated, and Tech-enabled Solutions
We at Dopasi are dedicated to advancing social justice and empowering marginalized communities in Pakistan. Leveraging our extensive national outreach and established relationships with hard-to-reach communities, we aim to bridge the education gap and foster transformative opportunities for the most vulnerable population. Aligned with SDG 4, our education program is committed to delivering inclusive, equitable, and quality education, empowering every student to unlock their full potential, harness their talents, and achieve outstanding learning outcomes.
Pakistan currently faces an emerging education emergency with the highest numbers of Out-of-School Children (OOSC) globally, with approximately 26 million children aged 5-16 not in school. The OOSC rate is higher among girls (44.5%) than boys (34.4%). The underlying factors contributing to this crisis are multifaceted, including poverty, destruction of schools due to natural disasters, child labor, inadequate access to schools and infrastructure, shortages of trained teachers, and pervasive socio-cultural barriers that disproportionately affect girls’ education.
Our goal at Dopasi is to empower out-of-school children through leveraging cost-effective technologies and interactive learning mediums to create immersive educational experiences. The education programme targets the most vulnerable out of school children particularly belonging to brick kilns, child labour, refugee communities.
To address the learning gap, we partner with governments, educators, and local communities, strengthening education systems through evidence-based interventions and innovative learning models that drive sustainable impact.
Our key focus areas include:
Technology based and digital education strategies to enhance access, engagement, and outcomes cost effectively.
Capacity-building programs for educators, including teachers, administrators equipping them with modern teaching methods and tools
Large-scale literacy campaigns, addressing both in-school and out-of-school learning through community engagement and outreach initiatives
Rapid response initiatives providing education in emergencies, ensuring continuity of learning for displaced communities
Building on our expertise in the health sector, our education program will integrate essential health initiatives to support students’ overall well-being and healthy development.
Driven by our mission to uplift and support marginalized communities, we’re committed to achieving SDG 4, providing inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all, and bridging the learning gap for those affected by poverty, illiteracy, and social injustice.
