Dopasi Foundation leads the expansion of TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) to protect vulnerable populations and household contacts of people with TB. This initiative leverages digital solutions and community mobilization to close gaps in TB prevention coverage, especially focusing on Household contacts, Transgenders, Prisoners, Refugees and Healthcare Workers.

• Activities Conducted Under the Approach:

  • Capacity building and Engagement of more than 200 healthcare workers from 61 public sector health facilities to scale up TPT.

  • Deployment of the ePreventTB app for accountability and performance tracking.

  • Active Case Finding and screening activities for target groups
    

• Achievements to Date:

  • Screened ~15,000 individuals, with 4,790 starting TPT.

  • Integrated TPT indicators into national health systems.
